LOCATION: Juršići is a place in the southwest of Istria, in the municipality of Svetvinčenat in the Istrian County. Juršići was the seat of the Čakavian Parliament. Juršići also has an elementary school, and in a nearby abandoned building, education in the native language began in 1876, when priest Josip Velikanje organized classes in the Croatian language in his rectory. Juršići also has the church of St. Francis of Assisi, built in 1874.

The church is well preserved, and the feast of St. Francis is celebrated there every year, on October 4.
