This old finca is over 200 years old and has been completely renovated, while keeping its original character. The old farmhouse has been divided into 2 parts. It is therefore a semi-detached, but the layout ensures that the finca is very private.

The finca has more than 300m² of living space and includes an entrance hall with a bedroom on one side and a bathroom on the other side. After the hallway, you have a living/dining room with a wood burner. Next is the traditional kitchen with a large pantry (this one was a stable and is still with original elements from that period). From the kitchen, you have access to a patio (courtyard, nicely laid out). On the other side is the bodega with its original press. The bodega has not yet been renovated but could be transformed into an apartment or reception room. At the end of the bodega, you have a small piece of land, totally fenced.

Back in the living room, you have the stairs leading to the upstairs. There are 4 bedrooms, a dressing room (could be a 5th bedroom), a bathroom and a large living room with wood burning stove. Possibility of making a third bathroom.

Adjoining the finca is a very large garage. In front of the entrance of the house, you have a small pergola. Below is the 10x5m swimming pool with a field of almond trees behind. This finca is a real gem and must absolutely be seen. The finca has electricity, running water and rainwater.

Alicante airport and beaches are only 40 minutes away.

La Romana is a pretty village, located in the foothills of the Sierra del Reclot and surrounded by vineyards, almonds and olive orchards. It is a mountainous area and there are several marble and limestone quarries in the area.
The village has a population of about 2,500 people and has a good selection of shops, bars and cafes. There is also an excellent Saturday market. La Romana has its own bodega, a co.operative, where the local vineyard owners bring their harvest. There is a large sports centre on the edge of the village with a large pool, tennis, Paddle Tennis and Basketball courts, a football pitch and indoor gym.
The town’s popular fiesta is held in the third week of August every year, which includes the traditional Moors and Christians parades on Friday and Saturday.
The village is close to the towns of Alguena, Novelda, Aspe and Hondon de las Nieves and is a 30 minute drive from Alicante airport and the closest beaches are a 40 minute drive away.
