We are pleased to present this villa in a location with views and tranquillity, just a five-minute drive into town.
This is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa in Sax on the mountain of Pena Rubia with good access; the last 500 metres is not tarmac-covered but does not require a 4×4 or high-wheelbase car.
There are remote-controlled gates into a fenced area around the property and low maintenance gardens. There is additional land separated and holds around 320 olive trees, maintained annually by a gardener who harvests the olives.
There are few villas designed for living in Spain, where around 80% of your time is spent outside, a change for those from Northern Europe.
The design is done so that you can keep cool in summer and let the winter sunshine naturally warm the conservatory.
The pool area is designed for entertaining, with views of the iconic castle of Sax lit up in the distance. Around the pool are two pergolas and a summer kitchen with a BBQ and a bar. There is ample terracing and no nearby neighbours, allowing for gatherings or quiet moments like reading in the sunshine or shade.
The conservatory is where much interior time is spent, looking out across the land and the valley to the mountain top 13th-century castle and two other mountain ranges accessible from your property for hiking, walking, or riding.
Inside the house, there is a small hallway that separates the living and sleeping areas. There are no doors into bedrooms from the lounge or bathrooms off the kitchen. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted, with a size typical of Spanish homes, where cooking is often done outside in the summer kitchen or BBQ.
Another feature is the separate lounge and dining room. The lounge includes a log-burning fireplace and a full-length window to enjoy the views. Sitting in the lounge, you’re drawn to gaze outwards while life continues around you.
The dining room is bright and can be accessed from both the hallway and kitchen, with a patio door leading out to the pool area.
A passageway from the hallway leads to a modern family bathroom, two double bedrooms, and the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The property is in excellent condition, having been enjoyed by the owners, who now wish to be closer to family in Alicante. Meeting them gives a sense of the property’s warmth and flow.
Mains electricity, water, oil central heating, and air conditioning are features of the villa, making it suitable for holiday use or full-time living.
Outside, there is a garage with an up-and-over door, a carport, and a utility shed.
